Is your gift deductible?
We are preparing to file for recognition of exemption under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. If recognition is granted, we expect it to be effective retroactive to our date of formation, which would make a gift made today deductible to the extent allowed by law. We cannot guarantee the outcome of the application. If it is not granted, a gift made now would not be deductible.
We send written acknowledgment of every gift, stating the amount, the date, and whether anything was provided in exchange, so that it works as your record the moment recognition is granted.
